Maggie’s books have premiered to overwhelming critical and commercial success, and garnered special attention from the movie industry hoping to replicate the box office triumphs of "The Hunger Games" and the "Twilight" franchise.

Warner Brothers has also optioned Maggie’s best-selling "Wolves of Mercy Falls" trilogy, which includes "Shiver", "Linger" and "Forever". The trilogy is a darkly compelling "Romeo & Juliet" love story between a young girl and a boy hiding a terrible secret.

All three books debuted as New York Times best-sellers and were named as Best Books for Young Adults by the American Library Association. Stiefvater lives in Virginia with her husband and their two children.
